We see the lack of easy-to-use, interactive tools on the market for brands and consumers to create and wear digital outfits  a huge barrier to the future of fashion consumption.


GN3RA by Digital Fashion Framework is a Direct To Avatar fashion design platform addressing this issue. GN3RA is going to empower Gen-Z creators worldwide, supporting a more democratic and inclusive era in the creative industries. Our mission is to enable a global audience to create, wear and trade virtual fashion, by accessible and decentralized solutions. We are dedicated to promote the use of digital outfits instead of the physical, and how can it affect overconsumption, to drive positive environmental change.


We are now on the lookout for Technical Artists to join our team of innovators to build the future of virtual self-expression.


You will have a unique opportunity to help us to deliver the best possible experience of interacting with other users in digital fashion. You will be inventing and developing state of the art solutions for the creation, interaction and visualisation. You will work closely with other technical artists and collaborate with world class engineers, data scientists, designers and user experience researchers to define the future of digital fashion experiences in Metaverse.


Technical Artist Responsibilities:

  • Create tools to streamline the creation of digital fashion
  • Help create well-architected and scalable rigging systems
  • Contribute to and help maintain a wide array of existing workflows and tools
  • Partner closely with art and engineering teams to define and develop content in modern real-time environments
  • Design, manage and maintain the pipeline from artists and designers through to deployment
  • Quickly solve issues with your cross-functional leads
  • Ability to collaborate and iterate based on the team's needs


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience in game development or film as a Technical Artist
  • Experience creating advanced procedural rigging systems
  • Expert Knowledge of character rigging in Maya
  • Experience with Maya Python/PyMEL, C++ API, PySide/PyQt
  • Experience collaborating on multi-disciplinary teams
  • Experience communicating across team members including engineers and artists
  • Experience in facial rigging and morph targets
  • Experience with real time asset implementation and optimization techniques
  • Experience working with Unity or Unreal


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive Content development experience, including shipped AAA games
  • Experience with face tracking from video or similar technologies
  • Virtual reality experience
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies
  • Shader programming experience
